Super Sacred Valley Vip 1 Day  Tour

If you do not have enough time to visit  Chinchero, Moray , Salt Mines, Ollantaytambo and Pisaq all in one day or you have already bought a Train ticket to Aguas Calientes to go in the afternoon this is the best Option to see more tourist circuits of Cusco.

The picking up starts at your hotel between 06:30 a.m to 07:00 a.m to visit those places.

CHINCHERO: It will be our first point of visit which is located near the Piuray lagoon, Chinchero was chosen by the Inca Tupac Yupanqui to build his residence, years later the current colonial church, of lady monserrat, would be erected. The town of  Chinchero is one among few places in America where traditional techniques are still used, they dye fibers by means vegetable, minerals and animals dyes.

MORAY : It is located at 3500 m.a.s.l where platforms can be observed. According to studies those archeological platforms served as a laboratory to adaptat the plants to different weathers. you will see three sets of gigantic platforms as amphitheaters, this enigmatic place has the number seven in the buildings, we will learn why and  its energetic influence in agriculture.

SALT MINES: There are more than three thousand open salt mines, which are extracted mainly on months of drought (from May to September).

OLLANTAYTAMBO: This archeological zone is another monumental inca work influenced by the tiahuanaku culture (Bolivia). It has been strategically builded on the mountains to dominate the whole valley. At the top of this complex there is a temple in honor to wiracocha, characterized by a enormus monoliths in red prefidious that amaze people, this has engraved (two Pumas). these blocks were united with an incredible precision.

URUBAMBA: It is located in the heart of the sacred valley, it was one of the main agricultural centers of the inca empire, in this town we will enjoy a delicious buffet lunch.

PISAQ: There is a craft fair in its main square on tuesday, thursday and sundays , there, many people buy souvenirs such as ceramics, silverware and costume jewelery made by the local ones. After visiting the market we will go on the tour to visit the archeogical Pisaq’s park, this is located on the top of a mountain with the same name, there you will see the longest inca cementery and agricultural terraces. Eventually we return to Cusco to be there at 7pm aprox.
